Religion Clothing and ritual have been around as long as man has been on earth. Whether for a ceremony, to show status, or to set an individual apart as a higher authority man has found a way to make his uniform speak volumes about his position in life.

Ritual clothing was talked about in the bible. Clothing in religion goes all the way back to Adam and Eve. If you remember, and I’m sure that you do, Mr Adam and Ms Eve did not exactly come into existence with a full wardrobe.

It took a few pages of the holy book and a sin here and there to announce the necessity of clothing.

Once clothing was introduced to the world it became a vital part of people’s lives and livelihoods.

There is free religion clothing that organizations hand out to the less fortunate. Winter coats are collected and dispersed when the weather turns cool and shorts and shirts when the summer arrives. Some people just can’t afford clothes and this service offered by churches and relief organizations help them out.

Food Clothing Religion: Some people would say that those three items are the mainstay for existence. Everyone needs food for nourishment, clothing to protect themselves against the elements, and religion to save their souls. What else is necessary?

Clothing in religion has taken on a special significance during some funeral ceremonies. Death clothing as it has become known played a crucial part of the ceremony in ancient cultures. The clothing, the symbols, and the artifacts all had their place and would let the Gods know this was an important person that is passing through to the other side. No need to leave it to chance and have God overlook this person.

Of course religion has influenced clothing throughout the ages. You really don’t have to look much further than to the Quakers, the Amish, 17th and 18th century Americans, and modern day conservative Islamic countries. You can see the religious brand on all of the people that lived in these countries or during certain times in history.

New religion clothing is something that doesn’t exist. It seems as though it has been banished or it is the same as it has been for centuries. There really doesn’t seem to be a middle ground. The Pope probably wears the same religion clothing line that his predecessors have for centuries.

Do you remember when lots and lots of kids used to go to religious schools? And what were they wearing? That’s right: religion kids clothing. The boys would have on a shirt and tie while the girls would wear below the knee dresses and white blouses. Oh….for the good old days.

Infants don’t escape this fashion feast. Religion baby clothing is also present during circumcision, bar mitzvahs and confirmations. Whenever there is a ceremony that has significance, religion clothing and prayer will go together.

Religion Womens Clothing: Berka! Does anything else have to be said? I mean really…

Religion clothing and the human race go together like peanut butter and jelly.
